Security is part of how we build, not something added afterward. This page describes our approach to protecting the systems and information entrusted to us.

Our approach
We design for production from the start: the reliability, access control, and audit trails that institutional workflows depend on are part of the architecture rather than added later. Security and privacy considerations are built into how each engine and operating system is developed and operated.
Infrastructure
Our services run on managed cloud infrastructure. Traffic is served over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Network access is restricted, secrets are held in a centralized secrets manager rather than in code, and access to production systems follows least-privilege principles.
Data protection
Data is encrypted in transit. Access to systems and data is governed by role-based access controls, and significant actions are recorded in audit trails to support accountability and review.
Application security
- Input is validated and requests are authenticated and authorized before they are processed.
- We maintain dependency hygiene and scan for known vulnerabilities in our build pipelines.
- Changes move through continuous-integration checks before release.
Operational security
We monitor and log system activity to detect and respond to issues, and we design logging to avoid capturing sensitive data unnecessarily. We work to respond promptly to security events and to learn from them.
Responsible disclosure
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in our website or services, we want to hear from you. Please report it to info@slastech.com with enough detail to reproduce the issue, and allow us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remediate before any public disclosure. We appreciate responsible reporting and will acknowledge legitimate reports.
